My solo exhibition has opend at the Dogs in Art Gallery in Stockbridge ,Hampshire today. My "Hampshire Hog" painting has already sold and interest in the show has been wonderful leading up to the opening.

There are two dates  that may be of interest during the exhibition.

Meet the Artist and Book Signing Event

Wednesday 17th July 

2.00 p.m  - 4.00 p.m.

I will be at the gallery to sign books on Wednesday and free to meet visitors and discuss paintings in my new collection. Everyone is welcome and it is a fabulous opportunity to visit the gallery and the wonderful town of Stockbridge whilst it is quieter mid week.

"We are holding our Gallery Summer Show Private Reception on Sunday 4th August from noon until 2pm.  Drinks will be served and Jean will be present to give our guests a private viewing of her Summer Sensations exhibition.  This is a private event for ticket holders only.  Space is limited and we expect to be oversubscribed so please email us asap if you would like to secure tickets."

 The annual food festival will be taking place at Stockbridge on the Sunday which is a brilliant time to visit this gorgeous town.

It is a stunningly, sunny day here and I feel as though I could be in France right now. I am surrounded by beautiful geranium flowers which always remind me of market days from my time living there.

The above painting is in a gorgeous frame and is currently being exhibited at the Frame Gallery in Odiham, Hampshire ,UK. This is one of those pieces that makes me feel like racing for a summer dress and a glass of chilled wine,to enjoy in my garden.

The Frame Gallery in Hampshire are hosting "Essence" a solo exhibition which will include many of my new subjects including the glorious Kingfishers, beautiful Koi, elephants, ballet, and many more beautiful pieces. Within this show my heart will have flowed into my brushtrokes as the variety of colour and form has been a sheer joy to work with.

I am currently working on a  watercolour collection for my show in Godalming at the Wey Gallery this March. My solo exhibition will open on Friday 22nd March with a Private Preview. On Saturday 23rd March,  I will be giving a demonstration at the gallery, covering subjects in my way of approaching a watercolour.

This particular show is going to be a major 2013 event with many favourite subjects included in my new collection. There, as always, will be a few surprises. In recent years red dots have appeared very quickly at the  gallery openings,especially over the first few days. There is a new "Lucky Hare"  and I honestly can't wait to see all the paintings displayed.
