A crowded Mall Galleries for the opening of the SWA Society for Women Artists 150th Annual Exhibition
This week has been so busy as I have been in London almost daily for the SWA ,Society for Women Artists 150th Annual Exhibition. The beginning of the week was the time to hang, judge and prepare for the opening for a charity on Tuesday evening in aid of "Create". The gallery looked amazing by the time the first event commenced with an auction and this gave an incredible lead into the next exciting few days.
The generous winning bidder for my painting of Venice auctioned in aid of Create.
Wednesday saw the Private Preview take place and crowds filled the Mall Galleries giving a fabulous air of excitement before the award ceremony. These were presented by HRH Princess Micheal of Kent after the presentation of the council to HRH on her arrival. This is the second year I have been on the SWA council and the second year I have witnessed this very beautiful and gracious Princess take time to absorb the exhibition and talk at length with genuine warmth to everyone she meets.

There is so much I wish to share from the last two weeks which have been absolutely full and exciting. I hope to find the time to update my blog with more information very soon!
